Raw Sewage Flows into River

Summer showers sent more raw sewage flowing into the Ottawa River this week.

The City says 200-thousand litres of raw sewage and untreated water overflowed the sewage system during rain on Tuesday.

So far this year, more than 380 million litres of raw sewage has overflowed the sewage system and into the Ottawa River
